Pat Baldwin

is the Senior Vice President of Fidelity Title Insurance Company, Maricopa County, Arizona.  Her portfolio consists of the supervision of the escrow department; internal training of staff; supervising and conducting audits; supervising and monitoring internal controls of trust funds and assisting the County President in the operations of 3 counties.

 She was a successful escrow officer for many years and has trained other escrow officers throughout her career. She was a founder of the Southern Arizona Escrow Association (1977), the Arizona State Escrow Association (1980) and the American Escrow Association (1980).  Pat served as President of the American Escrow Association 1984-1985, a national escrow association with 11 member states representing more than 5,000 escrow practitioners.

 Pat has served on the Professional Designation Committee for the Arizona State Escrow Association and has attained the following Professional Designations: CEO (Certified Escrow Officer, in 1981), CSEO (Certified Senior Escrow Officer, in 1982) and CEI (Certified Escrow Instructor in 2002).

             Pat was on the AAR Forms Committee, which won “Committee of the Year” for its 1994 Residential Purchase Contract.  She also served on the Forms Committee in the revision of the 2000 AAR Residential Purchase Contract.

       She chaired the AAR Industry Partners Conference for the allied industries (Realtors, Lenders and Escrow/Title) in 1999 and 2000. She served as Chairman of the AAR Partners Conference for 1999 and 2000 and is the primary author of the scenarios for this conference.

 Pat represents Arizona on the national level as a member of the American Escrow Association committee drafting the Uniform Closing Instructions.  This is collaboration with the Mortgage Bankers Association to strive for uniformity on a national level in the closing of loan transactions.

 Pat continues to be a leader in the industry, writing and conducting seminars for the Arizona State Escrow Association on the standards and practices for the escrow industry; authors the scenarios for the Industry Partners conferences and writes and lectures for licensing renewal classes for real estate licensees.

Pat was honored last year by the American Escrow Association with the first ever Earl G. Barrett Memorial award.
